Another mix i made myself, this time it's the "I Need You" riddim. All cuts produced by Lloyd 'King Jammy' James and released on his "Jammy's" label in 1986 (correct me if I'm wrong here).

Classic Ninja tune! This is the Steely & Clevie version of Sleng Teng, the original of course being the Jammy's one, released in 1990 on their own label.

Relaesed in 1990 on the 'Mr. Doo' label. The riddim is called Get In The Groove. This tune is also the title track from the Rikers Island album released a year later.
Released in 1981 and produced by Niney the Observer. Not sure about label or riddim here, but it ought to have been on Niney's own label. The tune was also on the "Joy In The Morning" album, which came out in 1995 on the Lagoon label.

A Jammy's production released in 1983, originally on the Jammy's label i think, but it has been re-released a few times. It is also feautured on the Mr. Budy Bye album; that's the record sleeve in the video. The riddim is called Water Pumping as well.

80's digital classic released in 1987 on the Stereo One label. The riddim is called The Exit and the track was produced by Clifton Henry, although I'm pretty sure King Jammy made the original. Last year a remake of The Exit, called No Borders, was produced by Bobby Konders for his Massive B label. Burro Banton's "Badder Dan Dem" was a big tune on that one.
A dub classic released as a 45 on the Deep Root label in 1997. The tune was featured on the "Outernational Dub Convention" record released the same year, showcasing Jah Free and Vibronics.
