Blancmange was a short-lived electronic phenomenon that brought a wealth of talent to the 80's synth-pop scene.
It was comprised of two members, Neil Arthur (vocals, guitar) and Stephen Luscombe (keyboards), who met at London Art College. They formed a recording duo in 1979 and made three successful albums before breaking up in 1986.

Although the lyrics were written with a female singer in mind, Blancmange manage to pull this off just fine.
The production on it is just superb.
