This was the 2nd time I ever left the base and first patrol in late August, 2005. The video is okay at best, the script is bad... but I think the story is still okay and is decent for a first time out. I like to look at this compared to my later Ramadi stories to see the contrast in the way I did things.

After an IED went off, blowing up the person setting it up near ECP 8 in Ramadi, the IA want us to see it, so I step out with the LT. As we approach the parts of the body and the head, separated, several young men come around the corner, causing one of the few times the camera went down and weapon went up.
